Campaign 16V181000 ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:WIRING:FRONT UNDERHOOD
Nissan North America, Inc. (Nissan) is recalling certain 2016 Frontier V6 vehicles manufactured February 29, 2016, to March 7, 2016. The starter motor wire harness may have been installed in an incorrect position, allowing the starter harness terminal to contact the heat shield and result in an electrical short.
This page lists the NHTSA safety recalls recorded against the 2016 Nissan Frontier that touch the key, ignition or anti-theft systems. It does not state this vehicle's key fob part number, FCC ID, radio frequency, button count or battery type, and it does not publish a programming procedure: this site holds no record of those for any vehicle. Match the FCC ID printed on your own fob, and check your VIN at nhtsa.gov for the current status of any recall below.
